Update to Version 3.3.6 for the following benefits:
- Improved playback performance
- Removes an issue with volume fluctuations which can occur when playing certain types of music connected over Bluetooth or connected using the 3.5mm audio cable with your device
- Reduces a delay in the audio playback when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV and playing the audio through an OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA speaker
- With one OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA speaker
- The Version 3.3.6 update reduces a delay in the audio playback when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV and playing the audio through an OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA speaker. This allows the audio and video to play in sync with each other
- The update reduces the delay when connected from your device or TV to the speaker, over Bluetooth or using the 3.5mm audio cable.
- With two OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA speakers playing together with Wireless Dual Stereo
- The Version 3.3.6 update will reduce but will not fully remove a delay in the audio playback when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV and playing the audio through two OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA speakers playing together, when the Play Control speaker is connected over Bluetooth to your device or TV. With the Play Control speaker connected to your device or TV over Bluetooth, there will still be delay in the audio and the audio will not play in sync with the video.
- If you want to use two speakers playing together with Wireless Dual Stereo when you are watching a video on your device or watching TV you will need to:
- update both speakers to 3.3.6
- connect the Play Control Speaker to your device or TV using the 3.5mm audio cable that came with the speaker
- With the Play Control speaker connected using the 3.5mm audio cable, the audio and video can play in sync with each other playing through both speakers with Wireless Dual Stereo
Please have the following items ready:

Step 1 : Please right click the Download button below and select "Save Link As" / "Select Target As" and save the file "3xlupdate" to your USB Thumb Drive
Step 2 : Turn the speaker OFF and unplug the power adapter and audio cable if connected to the speaker.
Step 3 : Open the Connector Flap on the rear of your OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA and insert the USB drive into the USB Power Bank connector
Step 4 : Press and hold down the 
Volume Down button, while holding it down, press and release the 
Power button"
- The Red Light will come on followed by the Green Light, and you can now release the Volume Down button. (figure 4-a)

- The Green Light will begin flashing rapidly for a few seconds
- The Red and Green Lights will slowly flash together 5 times, then turn solid (figure 4-b).

Step 5 : Unplug the USB drive from the OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA
Step 6 : Press and hold down the Power button for 8 seconds until the Red and Green Lights turn off.
Step 7 : If you have a second OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA, you will need to update it as well by repeating Steps 2 through 6 on your second speaker.
Step 8: After you have updated your OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA to Version 3.3.6, your device will not reconnect to the speaker until you do the following:
- First, remove the OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA from the Bluetooth List on your Device. On an iPhone or Smartphone go to the Bluetooth list and press the small icon which is next to the OontZ Angle 3XL U and then select “Forget” or “Unpair”, this will remove the speaker from the Device List.
- Second, on your device pair and connect to the OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA and you are ready to play.
Note: If you have two OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA speakers, to play together with Wireless Dual Stereo you will need to pair them together again.

Confirming Update Version 3.3.6
Step 1 : Power on the OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA by pressing and releasing the Power button.
Step 2 : Open the Connector Flap on the rear of your OontZ Angle 3XL ULTRA and insert the AUX IN 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX IN Jack. The Bluetooth Indicator Light will turn green and you will hear the voice prompt: “AUX IN Source”
Step 3 : To confirm the speaker updated successfully to Version 3.3.6, press and hold down the 
Bluetooth button. After about 5 seconds please check for the following light sequence:
- Red Light flashes 3 times
- Blue Light flashes 3 times
- White Light flashes 6 times
